Margaret Stuart is an Associate with the Des Moines law firm of Parrish Kruidenier, Trial Lawyers, where she practices primarily in the areas of criminal law, appellate law, personal injury and wrongful death.
Prior to joining Parrish Kruidenier, Ms. Stuart served as professional staff on the United States Senate Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies. Before that, she was a legislative aid on the United States Labor Committee, Subcommittee on Disability Policy.
Ms. Stuart has served her community as Legal Counsel to Montessori Children’s House (2003-2005), and as a board member of Bergman Academy (2005-2006). She is presently on the board of directors of Prelude Behavioral Services, a nonprofit organization providing addiction treatment and mental health services. Ms. Stuart lives in Des Moines with her husband and the youngest of four children.
